About the festival for Visitors:
The Big Four Bridge Art Festival is a free public arts festival in the heart of Downtown Louisville. This year we will be celebrating for the second time and 2018 is looking like it will be even bigger and better. Surrounded by a beautiful venue with entertainment, food, beverages, and children’s activities in a family-friendly atmosphere the 2018 Big Four Arts Festival will feature an all new line up of new Emerging artists and a curated selection of favorites from last year too. Parking is again going to be ample and easy to navigate with our dedicated trolley offering lot-to-gate service up and Down River road all day long.
About the festival for Artists:
The Big Four Arts Festival in Louisville, KY is held in Waterfront Park at the Big Four Bridge Lawn ? four gorgeous acres of tree lined walks overlooking the Ohio River. Better than 2 million people visit Waterfront Park annually and 25,000 stroll the Big Four pedestrian bridge each weekend. The Festival is known by artists for its easy access, spacious booth layouts, and many artist amenities. The 2017 inaugural Festival was the largest attended two-day event ever at the Big Four Bridge Lawn with a 2-day attendance estimated at 50,000. Artists are chosen by an independent panel of 3 judges. This year we have allotted spaces for over 200+ quality, juried local and national artists.
